Angela Sun

Angela Sun is a journalist documentarian, sportscaster and television host. Angela Sun was born on October 19, 1979, at Santa Clara County California. She is an award-winning journalist and sportscaster as well as an actress. She earned her degree from the University of California with a master's degree in communication and sociology. Sun has a great surfing ability. After participating in several pro-am surfing contests, she was offered sponsorship by Roxy Reef Billabong Vans and various other major companies. The recognition provided a fantastic slingshot for her career in entertainment. In the following years, she was an actress, sportscaster, investigative journalist, and film-director. Sun has worked as a reporter on several news networks, mostly as an anchor. She was a Fox Sports Net correspondent in 2003. In 2012, she was host of American Ninja Warrior with Matt Iseman as well as Jonny Moseley. Sun was the host of The Yahoo Sports Minute in the year 2014. She's the first Asian American person to have appeared on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun has appeared in a variety of movies, and her skills as an actress are lauded and acknowledged. Sun was in films like Goliath (2016), hit the Floor(2014-2016) An Ideal Getaway(2009) Shackled (2005), Street Kings (2008), and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2004). Sun, who wrote and directed the documentary Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch regarding marine plastic pollution and the environmental effects in 2014, released the feature length film.
