Alison Krauss is one of the most well-known and successful Country Singer who was born on the 23rd July in Decatur Illinois United States. Alison Krauss and LeAnn Kymes were the two youngest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss is an American singer, songwriter and bluegrass musician. Her birth date was the 23rd of July 1971. She entered the music industry at an early age having won local competitions at 10, and recording for the first time when she was 14 years old. In 1985, she signed with Rounder Records and in 1987 came out with her debut album. In 1989, she was invited to join Alison Krauss & Union Station together with whom she performed.
